I Wish You Enough

This is another thought in a series about abundant living. Inspirational speaker and author Bob Perks shares his message "I believe in you" in each of his talks. Bob Perks' talk inspiring this video can be read at on his site. He writes of his experiences as he encounters people in malls, restaurants and airports. I was touched by this story. As we reach our 40's we realize the mentors of our youth are aging, we begin to experience illness of loved ones and loss. I remember when I had my children at 24 I thought that at the time of the "empty nest" I would still be so young and would have time to live life in a different kind of abundance. I didn't think of the possibility of others aging around me. I have quite a long prayer list of friends and family who have illnesses, who have experienced loss and who grieve deeply. It is so important to stay centered in abundant thinking, being joyful for the life we have, the time we have with our children whatever their difficulty or talent, our life with our spouse and good friends, our life with our parents. It is in the joy, in the possiblity, in the journey that we find "we have enough."
