I got this terrific award from my good blogger friend Liz at About A Boy (or Two). She is such a loyal blogger, she even posted from her hospital bed just after having surgery!!! #1. Maternal Madness: This amazing Oklahoma blogger has a whole bloggful for savings ideas. Check out how she gives you sites where you can get free samples!!! I love finding great OK bloggers and she is one!
#2. Rocks In My Dryer: Is another amazing Oklahoma blogger. She hosts Works-For-Me Wednesday. She has over 250 people participating so she is one busy blogger! She recently posted about a web business called Blessed Nest. The woman makes homemade nesting pillows from organic materials filled with buckwheat hulls. They look great and can be used for sooo many things. Although a great shower gift for a new mom, they can also be used as a lap pillow for the Xtreme blogger. Check out her site to see these!
#3. Abbily Ever After: Now this woman has a fun thing going on. She hosts the Secret Ornament Exchange 2008. You have to hurry, you can sign up by October 31. You will get an email from her about the name of your person and where to send the ornament. Then by Dec. 1st you will mail a new ornament to a blog participant. I signed up, I think it sounds fun!!!
#4 Heaven's Gift: You will be blessed to read this woman's blog and she graciously takes time to make meaningful comments on every post she reads. You will want to read her story of adoption and the blessings that have been bestowed on her.
#5. Chronicles of a Mommy: Most who read this post will know Kacey from Wordful Wednesday and Photo Story Friday. She is crafty and loves all kinds of design. If you have only read a Wed. or Fri. post I challenge you to go to her site and read several other posts. She is another great and careful commenter.

ReplyDeleteHey thanks for your suggestions of how to fill in my time without my beautiful black metal machine to play with every day and night. I was worried caliginosity might descend upon me, but reading these suggestions, I may never find the time to come back to blogging! AS IF!!!!
I will definitely watch "Dr. Zhivago"....the Russian subtitles sounds like fun, please thank your husband for the suggestion.
