A Time For Recovery

My husband had a very successful surgery on Wednesday. We were expecting the worst regarding after surgery recovery but he really has had the absolute best outcome. The doctor reported that surgery went perfectly with no complications. He had a great 24 hour stay with excellent nursing care. I brought him home today and those pain meds are working wonders because he is in no pain. He is a great patient!

We did have quite a surprise today. Apparently when a cancerous organ is removed they test it in the lab. There was apparently some concern that the tumors were close to the margins. Well, the lab result was reported today and there was no concern. This means no further treatment. We were so happy since we did not know we needed to be concerned about this and were really quite stressed until the doctor called this afternoon.

Thank you to all who read this blog for your prayers and good wishes. I hope that in some small way I can use this blog to encourage each of you, pray for your families when you need it most and inspire each one of you to live life abundantly. You know that is my aim for myself!

    OMG OMG i am SO pleased for you, your husnband and family. This really is the most wonderful news, you guys must be SOOO relieved!
